Gamng - GMs and Gamers
Gaming at Necronomicon is a great way to spend downtime between panels and events, or your whole weekend. We offer a wide selection of games that can be checked out from the game library as well as our Play-To-Win games. Following the conclusion of gaming we also hold the Survivors Raffle where we give away free prizes for anyone who sticks out through the end of the convention.

When is Gaming open?
Our space is available for games from noon on friday until 4pm on sunday

Who is gaming open to?
Anyone with a valid convention badge is welcome within gaming, including the library and raffle.

Is gaming limited to boardgames?
NO! Tabletop games of many kinds are welcome, including but not limited to board games, card games, trading card games, and tabletop RPGs. If it is something more interactive it may fit better in our LARP area.

There’s a game library but can I still bring my own games to play?
Absolutely, just pick an open table and play away. Please be mindful of the gaming schedule though, as tables are reserved at certain times for GMs that plan ahead.

Is there a schedule of games people can sign up for?
On the website, under “Convention Schedule” you can find a list of all the games GMs have signed up to run at the convention.

Can I sign up to run a game?
You can, either through the “create your own panel or event” button under the “convention schedule” tab on our website, or by emailing for more detailed instructions.

How do the Play-to-Win games work?
You check them out of the game library, then play them in the game room, when you sign them back in you will be entered in a drawing to win them. Names are drawn on Sunday starting at 4pm in the game room after gaming has closed, and you MUST BE PRESENT to win.

What is the Survivors Raffle?
A free raffle that takes place in the game room after the convention has ended, where we give out all sorts of things, gaming related and not. You MUST BE PRESENT to win, starting at 4pm on Sunday.
